Guided Canoe Trails

Hi! My name is Allan, and I run Guided Canoe Trails on a variety of rivers in the Eastern Cape and Transkei Wild Coast of South Africa.

I guide the canoe trails, and provide the equipment, food and accommodation.

The trails are flat water trips, and I use fast but stable canoes designed to carry you and your equipment for the duration of the trip.

No previous experience is necessary. The canoes are light, and steer with a rudder, so you won't be blown around by the wind or currents.

The rivers include overnight trips to the following rivers: Bushman's River,(in Kenton), Kowie River, (in Port Alfred), Keiskama River,(in Hamburg), Kei River (Kei Mouth, Transkei border), Double Mouth (near Morgan Bay), Nqabara River (two night three day trip near Dwesa Nature Reserve).

We do 1 day canoe trail trips to the Chalumna River, Nahoon River, Gonubie River, Kwelera River.
